For Kids

Make A Spider

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED:
4- black chenille wires
1- black one-inch pom-pom ball

  1. First, wrap one of the chenille wires around the pom-pom,twisting it one time underneath to hold in place. (Just like you would a twist-tie on a bread bag.) You can fluff up the pom-pom fuzz to cover the wire.
  2. Second, line up the 3 other chenille wires. Holding them together like
they are one twist-tie, twist them around the first twist under the pompom.
Now all your spider legs should be in place.
  3. Third, bend down the ends of each wire to make your spider stand up.
Voila! Your spider is now ready to spin a web of her own.

OPTIONAL:

You may want to try other colors of spiders by choosing different colors of chenille wires and pom-poms. Try making some multi-colored spiders.

Anything’s possible when you make your own spider!
